I made Ziploc Omelets this morning  for breakfast (Thanks D for the hookup on the recipe!)

If you love omelets, but hate the grease, can never quite get it “right”, and love easy clean up… These are the way to go!

Use Quart Size Ziploc Freezer bags, marking each one with appropriate name

Beat 2 eggs with little bit of milk and dump in the bag

Add additional ingredients as desired – these are simply bacon & cheese – squish all together well to mix ingredients in with eggs

Remove as much air from the bag as possible, making sure to seal them well

*The boys always loved these because I allow them to put their own toppings in the bags. When they had sleepovers, they wanted to show these off to their friends in the morning… and the friends always went home and told their parents about how we made omelets in Ziploc bags & boiling water.

Bring large pot of water to rolling boil

Drop the bags in the boiling water

Set timer for 15 minutes and let them go

Remove bags from boiling water, and dump onto plate

You will find these to be the lightest fluffiest omelets you have ever had!

They are a huge hit every time I make them! Enjoy!!!
